♚ “Nyeh~ Nyeh~ Can’t catch me!”

The childish calling back was followed by the sticking out of her tongue towards her male counterpart. All was fair in love and tag! Especially when she had the head-start. Small giggles escaped her as she scooted down the slight incline towards the creek and- Welp-

♚ “Bombs away!”

Jumped into the running water, splashing the clear liquid everywhere. Sure, creeks weren’t all that deep but that didn’t mean you couldn’t get all wet from splashing around in one! And it was a nice day anyways! Might as well have some fun!

          Oz came to a skidding halt atop the small hill which grass gave way to dirt and pebbles leading down to the creek shoreline. Her head start before realizing what she’d been attempting on him lead him to lag behind by a couple of paces making catching up not as easy considering their paces were practically identical as well [no surprise].

                             ❝ Careful not to scare away all the crayfish! ❞

          If he had to, he could go a little farther down the creek then. Hopefully they’d dry before anyone found them or else the list of endless question would be thrown on them.  Who cared? It was a hot enough day! A few bounds down the side, the youth hopped his way right down to the edge. Kicking out, he sprayed water in the other blond’s direction.
