She hadn’t really heard the part about the crayfish, but as soon as water came splashing back her way she took on an offended expression. Did he really think he could win against her? It seemed she’d have to show him a thing or two about picking a fight with her!

♚ “En garde pretty boy!”

Lady dipped her hands into the clear water, cupping her fingers before using her lower centre of gravity to push her- and her hands- forward along with a rush of water towards her mirror image. There was no way she was going to let herself lose to him!

          The whole crayfish ordeal was behind Oz by this point anyways. For now it was time to have a bit of fun in the refreshing, cool water of the running stream. Even if someone else located the two of them, there was no way he was just going to leave, definitely not after this new proclamation! It was war with water now!

                              ❝ I won’t allow you to come out victorious this time! ❞

          Steps doubled back along the bank from the edge of the water as the soles of his shoes squished down into the peaty ground not easily drying by the surrounding water. Smirking slightly in her direction as the water splashed against bare legs, he turn faced to the side and bounded a couple of steps down stream from her before shuffling into the creek bed. With water lapping around his feet, fingers curled into loose fists before splashing through the water straight in her direction.
